Mrs. Moffatt - Pre-Employment Parker

Parker Pre-Employment Team Training

Ralph Bentley and Bev Moffatt teamed up to deliver a pre-employment team training program for Parker Hannifin August 21 through August 31, 2006. Ten students were invited to participate in the 40-hour pre-employment training program. Successful completers are eligible for hiring.

The participants were assigned to one of two teams. Each team was responsible for making the necessary parts to assemble a working steam engine. Participants received training in blue print reading, shop math, gauge reading, safety, basic operation of the lathe and end mill, and team concepts.
