Strong partnerships between the Lorain County JVS and the business community ensure that adult and high school students are better prepared to meet the demands of the workplace. Many opportunities exist for employers to influence curriculum planning and implementation which will enhance the career-technical training offered at the JVS. Some of these opportunities include serving on our business advisory committees, or partnering with the JVS to provide work-based learning and summer internship experiences for students.

Employer involvement in curriculum planning and on-the-job training experiences ultimately means that employers will continue to have access to a pool of highly-skilled JVS graduates for their workforce.
