College Credit Plus
Ohio's College Credit Plus program can help students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course through College Credit Plus is free for the student.
The following courses may be offered on-site at the JVS in partnership with Lorain County Community College (LCCC) for the 2015-2016 school year:
- English Composition 161
- English Composition 162
- Technical Math 121
- Technical Math 122
Students must meet LCCC's requirements in order to participate in these courses. These requirements include obtaining admission to LCCC and acceptable scores on the COMPASS test and/or ACT college entrance exam.
