Mr. Hadaway - Law Enforcement II

Welcome to the website of Law Enforcement II at the Lorain County JVS. My name is Shawn Hadaway and I am the Criminal Justice instructor at the LCJVS. I hope all had a great summer and are as excited to be back in school as I am. We have a full junior class and a very large senior class this year. I have many activities planned and hope to teach your student a great deal about law enforcement over the course of this school year.

A brief description of my background is as folllows. I retired in August of 2007 from the Lorain County Sheriff's Office after nearly 30 years of service to the public. I have spent the last 23 years in various supervisory duties. I served as a Shift Commander on the road patrol, Detective Bureau supervisor, Training officer and SWAT team leader. I am certified by the state of Ohio (OPOTA) as a Peace Officer and I am also certified to instruct numerous law related topics.
