The Career Readiness Lab Program is designed for students who would benefit from an alternative type of high school experience or who may be deficient in credits.
Career Readiness Lab students will spend at least three grading periods in a structured lab setting where through the use of different types of equipment, projects and career modules they will learn appropriate safety procedures and obtain a variety of skills that will help them focus on a successful career choice. Students in the Career Readiness Lab program who do well, based on instructors’ recommendations, may have an opportunity during the last grading period to work in a JVS career vocational lab to learn more about career opportunities available to them.
