JVS Senior Celebration

The JVS Senior Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 29th, beginning at 9am at the Palace Theater in Lorain. Admission is by ticket only. Click below for directions and parking information.


Educational Foundation

Statement of Purpose
The Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation represents a community-based organization designed to develop and provide a permanent source of supplemental funding which shall be used for the support and enhancement of the education of all JVS students.

The Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation provides an efficient vehicle for giving - both individuals and corporations - the opportunity to enhance the quality of the workforce in our community. Every dollar contributed marks another step toward the achievement of excellence in career preparation. Whatever the size of your tax deductible contribution, your help is truly appreciated.

Contributions
Contributions to the Foundation may be made in several ways.

  • Outright Gifts - Cash or long-term appreciated securities

  • Memorial Gifts - Cash or assets in memory or in honor of someone special to you

  • Deferred Gifts - Bequests, gift annuities, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts

  • Incremental Gifts - Gifts made in planned stages over a specific period of time

Contributions to the foundation will never be spent. Only the income generated from contributions to the Foundation will be available for spending.

The Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation is organized under the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County and is thereby subject to their governing rules.

The Board of Trustees for the JVS Educational Foundation is formed under authority of the Board of Education of the Lorain County JVS.

How Students Benefit from Your Contribution
Lorain County JVS is dedicated to creating a skilled and responsible workforce. It offers job training, job retraining and literacy skills; and promotes self worth, responsible actions, team cooperation and pride in workmanship. Ninety percent of JVS graduates join Lorain County's workforce. Staff in the High School and Adult Career Center is committed to serving both the individual and the workplace.

Lorain Country JVS invites you to request informational brochures by mail or phone, attend the Open House held annually in February or call for a personal visit.
