Scholarships
J. Edgar Martin Scholarship
J. Edgar Martin was a benefactor of the Lorain County JVS who bequeathed funds to be used for student scholarships. The J. Edgar Martin Scholarship was established in 2004.
Selection Criteria
- May be used for college, technical school, or continuing education courses.
- Selection is based on: application, transcript, letters of recommendation, letter of acceptance and interview.
- Selection is conducted by members of the Lorain County JVS Teachers' Association.
- Scholarship is one-year nonrenewable and awarded at the Senior Recognition Ceremony.
- Applications are available in Student Services or online.
- Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in career technical programs at the Lorain County JVS, William R. Burton Building.
