Scholarships

The Strive Scholarship was established in 1995 in cooperation with the Elyria Rotary. It is awarded to students who are in the lower 1/3 of their graduation class.

Selection Criteria

• Awarded to students who were in the lower 1/3 of their class.
• May be used for college, technical school, or continuing education courses.
• Selection is based on improvement in attendance and grade point average while at the JVS.
• Selection is conducted by Rotary members and JVS staff.
• One year nonrenewable and awarded at Senior Recognition Ceremony.
• Scholarship will be awarded based on the availability of the matching funds.
