Scholarships

The Lorain County JVS Student Memorial Scholarship was established in 2005 in memory of former JVS students who have passed away.

An individual's name will be listed in this scholarship if donations totaling $500 or more have been given in memory of the student.

Selection Criteria

• May be used for college, technical school, or continuing education courses.
• Selection is based on: application, transcript, letters of recommendation, letter of acceptance and interview.
• Selection is conducted by members of the Lorain County JVS Teachers' Association.
• Scholarship is one-year nonrenewable.
• Applicants are available in Student Services or online.
• Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in career-technical programs at the Lorain County JVS, William R. Burton Building.
