Welcome to Culinary Science!! I am Lara Rounds! During the Jr year we will be studying Sanitation/Microbiology. During the Sr year we will be studying Nutrition. Both of these courses are through the National Restaurant Association. The final for both classes will be an exam through the NRA. These classes will allow the student to be certified in both areas. If students choose to continue their education at a secondary culinary institute, these courses may be waved if the college has an articulation agreement with the LCJVS.
