    Welcome Back Students!

    August 28, 2017

Lorain County JVS welcomed nearly 1,100 new and returning students, Monday, August 28th, as the 2017-2018 high school year got underway.

JVS Superintendent Glenn Faircloth said the first day of school is one of his favorite times of the year. “It’s great to see all of the bright faces, some a little nervous, but we know they have made a great decision by choosing Lorain County JVS. We offer a career tech education that includes hands-on career readiness experiences. In fact, we are literally equipping our students with the skills they need to be productive in an ever changing workforce,” said Dr. Faircloth.

JVS High School Principal Jill Petitti stated she was excited to see both the new and returning students. “Students were excited to be here today and it was great to meet many new students at lunch time. It was also wonderful to see many of our last year's 10th graders, now in an 11th grade lab,” said Principal Petitti.

We are looking forward to a great school year!
