JVS Students Honored by Lorain County Alliance of Black School Educators JVS students that were honored by the LCABSE. March 17, 2008 -- Twenty-two Lorain County JVS students were recognized at the recent Academic Achievement Awards Program sponsored by the Lorain County Alliance of Black School Educators. The program was held at the LCCC’s Stocker Center. The students were honored for their academic success in any of the following areas: straight “A’s”, merit/honor roll, passing all the Ohio Graduation Tests, graduating seniors in the top 5% and 10% of their class, and National Merit Scholarship Program.
