Area Salons Participate in Cosmetology Career Fair Peggy Sinabaldi and two of her stylists from A David Anthony Salon participated in the JVS Cosmetology Career Fair. May 1, 2008 -- Representatives from area salons and spas came to the Lorain County JVS to meet with Cosmetology students for the purpose of exploring and sharing employment opportunities. Those in attendance were A Beau Monde, A David Anthony, Aries Salon, Best Cuts, Great Clips, Fandangles, Famous Hair, First Impressions, JCPenney, Massotherapy Arts Center, Trendsetters and The Velvet Turtle. Senior students will be travelling to Grove City in early May to take their State Board certification test. Students who pass the test can obtain their cosmetologist license and secure employment in the areas of hair, skin and nail care. Junior students have the opportunity to participate in summer internship experiences with local employers. This allows them to explore the opportunities available through the industry.
