January 2, 2009 -- DECA, a youth organization for students enrolled in vocational marketing and management programs, recently announced the 2008-2009 class officers.

Senior DECA Officers include: President, Meagan Tirado, (Wellington); Vice President, Staci Culligan, Elyria); Reporter, Jazzy Jefferson, (Elyria); Historian, Emily DeConcini, (Firelands); Treasurer, Nicole Nibert, (Firelands); and Secretary, Jessica Reed, (North Ridgeville).

Junior DECA Officers include: President, Stedman Valentine, (Elyria); Vice-President, Katie Dutton, (Firelands); and Secretary, Angel Garcia, (Elyria).

This officer team will lead the other members of this organization in developing professionalism and leadership which will help them transition to post-secondary education opportunities as well as becoming productive members of society through employment and community involvement.
