December 15, 2009 -- Ryan Valentik, a culinary arts student from Keystone, and JVS Culinary Instructor Tim Michitsch prepared Green Chili during the WVIZ/PBS broadcast called 'C is for Culinary Arts'. This program aired in December and featured 10 culinary students and instructors from career-technical schools throughout northeast Ohio.

JVS students Rachel Klier (Wellington), Heather Campbell (Columbia) and Brad Thomas (Amherst) also assisted their classmate by helping with "behind the scenes" preparations including set-up, food prep and clean-up.

The show aired during WVIZ/PBS Ideastream's pledge drive.
