
August 12, 2010 -- The Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation recently appointed two new student representatives to their board.
Tiffany Powell, a Midview High School junior in the Cosmetology Program and Jacob Wood, a Firelands High School junior in the Computerized Design & Drafting Program, will each serve a one-year term.
These students will represent the JVS student body at the board meetings and will be responsible for sharing information about Foundation activities with their peers.
The Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation represents a community-based organization designed to develop and provide a permanent source of supplemental funding which will be used for the support and enhancement of the education of all JVS students.
