    JVS Students Advance to National SkillsUSA Competition In Kansas City, Missouri

    May 1, 2012 -- Three Lorain County JVS students will be heading to Kansas City, Missouri in June for the National Competition of SkillsUSA . In addition, five other members received medals at the recent State Competition held in Columbus.

    BROOKSIDE
    Rachel Vorell placed 1st in First Aid/CPR and will be traveling to Nationals

    CLEARVIEW
    Jordan Cusumano took 3rd place in the Culinary event

    COLUMBIA
    Bridgette Berger took 3rd place in Nail Care

    FIRELANDS
    Steven Bajcer placed 1st in Welding and will be traveling to Nationals

    KEYSTONE
    Bryan Fox placed 2nd in the Internetworking event

    MIDVIEW
    Emily Edwards took 3rd in First Aid & CPR

    OBERLIN
    Alex Ladina took 1st place in the Sheet Metal event and will be heading to Nationals

    WELLINGTON
    Aaron Innes took 3rd place in the Nurse Assisting event
