JVS Hosts Open House on Sunday, February 8th

Coming February 8th--- a red carpet event for students who want to learn more about the Lorain County JVS!

Students can shine the spotlight on their future by attending the 38th annual Lorain County JVS Open House on Sunday, February 8th, from 1:30-3:30pm. Planned specifically for eighth, ninth, and tenth grade students and their parents, this year's JVS Open House is designed to help young people begin thinking about all the careers that are available to them.

At Lorain County JVS, students have the opportunity to obtain advanced technical skills, earn college credits, receive industry certifications, and participate in structured internships while still in high school. These distinctive prospects are only a few ways the spotlight of success shines brightly on students attending Lorain County JVS.

The Lorain County JVS Adult Career Center staff will also be on hand to talk with anyone interested in changing careers or upgrading their skills.

During the Open House, visitors will have the opportunity to:

Speak with faculty on a one-to-one basis about our career-technical program options and the academic courses that are emphasized.

View JVS student demonstrations of state-of-the-art equipment used daily in training labs.

Explore options after graduation including college, technical school, and apprenticeship training.

Learn about the JVS Summer Internship Program.

Register for Spring Semester Adult Education classes.

Discover how the JVS Adult Career Center can customize training programs to meet the needs of business and industry.
