The girls Varsity softball team advanced to the District Championship Game today at Lagrange Park by beating Keystone 1-0 in the semi-final District game yesterday. Amanda Spears lead off the 5th inning with a single & was bunted over by Lexi Shick to 2nd base, a fielders choice moved her to third and a wild pitch by the Keystone pitcher scored her from third giving Cassidi Kowalski the winning RBI. This is the first time since 2000 that Keystone has lost a District game and the Falcons handed it to them. Samantha Dostall led the charge on the mound and was supported by superb defense. Please come out today and support your lady Falcons as they play for the District title against Clearview at 4:30.
