Emergency Medical Technician

The new 150-hour EMT course is based on the new EMS educational standards and is required for certification as an EMT in the State of Ohio. The curriculum is designed to prepare an individual to serve on ambulance services and fire departments. Prerequisites: 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, driver’s license, and not been convicted of, plead guilty to, or had judicial finding of guilty to crimes listed in OAC 4765-8-01. Books and national exam are extra. 20 hours of clinical time are in addition to the 150 class curriculum. Accreditation #119.
