PLTW
Engineering Summer Camp runs 8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday from
June 29 to July 10. Participants will meet in the PLTW lab, Room AT137
of the Campana Building on the campus of Lorain County Community College
(LCCC). Students must provide their own transportation.
This is a STEM career camp featuring hands-on projects and activities focused on the design and engineering processes.
This camp is open to Lorain County students in grades 9-12 who have successfully completed Algebra I.
Those
who finish the summer camp are eligible to apply for the PLTW
Engineering program offered through Lorain County JVS at LCCC.
The cost of the camp is free due to a generous
grant from the Lorain County JVS Educational Foundation! Applications
must be submitted by April 3, 2020. Acceptance letters will be mailed
out the week of April 20.
Lunch will be provided daily. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.
