High Honors Awarded at Regional FCCLA Competition

Numerous students receieve medals at the regional FCCLA compeition.

Students from the Culinary Arts, Bakery and Pastry Arts and Early Childhood Education programs recently participated in the regional competition of Family Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) held at Four County Career Center.

The names of the students and their competition events are listed below by the student’s associate school district.

Veronica Janosik, Early Childhood Education junior, received a silver medal in Chapter Service Project featuring MaKenna’s Squad event; Noelle McNatt, Early Childhood Education junior, received a gold medal in Chapter in Review Display event; Maddison Morrow, Early Childhood Education junior, received a gold medal in Promote and Publicize FCCLA event

Maya Gonzalez, Early Childhood Education junior, received a silver medal in Focus on Children event

Daquota Dixon, Early Childhood Education junior, received a gold medal in Language and Literacy event

FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical organization for students in family and consumer sciences education in public and private school through grade 12. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life -- planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication -- necessary in the home and workplace.
