Lorain County JVS first-year Landscape and Greenhouse Management student, Kirby Herrera from Columbia, was recently presented the 110% Award. This award, sponsored by AgCredit, is available to the three different FFA Chapters in Lorain County.
This honor is given to the student who has gone above and beyond his/her duties for their chapter and is chosen by the chapter advisor(s).
“The LCJVS FFA Chapter involves two career tech programs, and this award goes to the person who always goes above and beyond helping the chapter, the teachers, and the students,” said Mason Bremke, LCJVS Agricultural Equipment Mechanics instructor and FFA advisor. “Kirby is dependable and puts 110% in everything she does.”
Kirby received a certificate, plaque, and a monetary gift from AgCredit. AgCredit is a cooperative agricultural lending institution specializing in lending for farms, rural property, and improvements and equipment.
