JVS Open House Welcomes Potential Students and Parents

The annual Open House looked different this year, but still allowed hundreds of prospective students and parents the opportunity to tour the building, see the career tech labs, meet with instructors, and apply for the upcoming school year.

The annual JVS Open House looked different this year, but still allowed hundreds of prospective students and parents the opportunity to tour the building, see the career tech labs, meet with instructors, and apply for the upcoming school year.

“We are happy we were able to still offer this event this year and allow potential students and their parents the chance to come in to meet us and see what we have to offer,” shared Tina Pelto, JVS high school principal.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions all attendees had to pre-register for the event, masks were mandatory, temperature and health checks were taken at the door and the JVS cleaning staff was on-hand to sanitize throughout the entire event.

The JVS Adult Career Center staff was also available to register adult students for upcoming classes and talk with adults interested in changing careers or upgrading their skills.

Applications for the 2021-2022 school year are now being accepted, as well as registration for upcoming adult career center programs. Visit lcjvs.com/GetStarted for more information.
