Lorain County JVS is proud to announce it has earned an overall 5-Star rating on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s State Report Card. This prestigious rating reflects the district’s commitment to academic excellence, workforce readiness, and innovative career-technical education (CTE) pathways.
This achievement builds on last year’s 4.5-star performance and places Lorain County JVS among the top-performing CTE districts in Ohio, reinforcing its role as a critical partner in Lorain County’s population growth and economic development.

This component measures the proportion of students employed, in apprenticeships, the military, service programs, or enrolled in postsecondary education or advanced training within six months of graduation.
