A message from Dr. Glenn Faircloth, Superintendent, Lorain County JVS
July 1, 2025
At Lorain County JVS, we don’t just educate—we build futures. As we look to launch into the 2025–2026 school year, our commitment is stronger than ever: to prepare high school and adult learners for the careers of tomorrow, while helping employers meet the workforce demands of today.
In a time when skilled talent is more critical than ever, Lorain County JVS stands at the intersection of education and economic development. Our high school programs are grounded in real-world, hands-on training that gives students a competitive edge in fields like healthcare, advanced manufacturing, construction, and IT. Students leave with certifications, experience, and a clear pathway—whether they’re heading straight into the workforce, continuing their education, or both.
Equally vital is the role of our Adult Career Center. Designed for working adults, career changers, and individuals ready to re-enter the workforce, our adult programs are aligned with industry needs and offer fast, affordable, and impactful training. Whether it’s earning a CDL, becoming a Certified Nurse Aide, or gaining credentials in advanced manufacturing, our graduates don’t just find jobs—they launch careers that matter.
We are proud to partner with regional employers, community leaders, and educational institutions to ensure our programs remain relevant and responsive. Together, we are fueling workforce pipelines, empowering individuals, and strengthening the economic vitality of Lorain County and beyond.
To every student, family, employer, and community partner—thank you for believing in what we do. The future is here. The future is now. And Lorain County JVS is leading the way.
In partnership,
Dr. Glenn Faircloth
Superintendent, Lorain County JVS
