A Board Guided by Innovation and Collaboration

The Lorain County JVS Board of Education is the policy-making body for the Lorain County JVS. Each of the following 13 associate school districts appoints one of their board members to serve on the JVS Board of Education: Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Columbia, Clearview, Elyria, Firelands, Keystone, Midview, North Ridgeville, Oberlin, Sheffield/Sheffield Lake, and Wellington.

The Lorain County JVS Board of Education will meet on the days listed below, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the IVDL (Interactive Distance Learning Lab) at the Lorain County JVS. The public is welcome to attend all Board of Education meetings.

The Board of Education recognizes the value to school governance of public comment on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of community interest. The Board offers public participation to members of the public in accordance with the procedures below.
