A recent financial audit of Lorain County JVS by the Auditor of State’s Office has returned a clean audit report for the fiscal year 2022. The school district’s excellent record-keeping has earned it the Auditor of State Award.

 

According to the Ohio Auditor of State, Keith Faber, this award is presented for excellence in financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and compliance with applicable laws for the fiscal year.

 

“The award was earned by all employees of Lorain County JVS as it requires the hard work of all to keep clean, accurate records,” shared Lorain County JVS Treasurer and CFO, Cory Thompson. “Their efforts go a long way toward meeting the expectations and trust of the community.”
