From the Principal

Lorain County JVS has been an educational leader in Lorain County since 1971. We offer a wide variety of career and technical options for high school students in grades 9 – 12 from 13 different school districts. Students have the opportunity to explore a variety of career programs in the following career areas: Building Trades, Business and Marketing, Community Service, Culinary, Manufacturing, and Transportation. While at JVS, students will receive all of the academic credits needed for graduation, including the opportunity to enroll in College Credit Plus courses.

Each year the JVS Summer Internship program works with local employers to put JVS students to work in their chosen career field; earning school credit, on-the-job training, and a paycheck!

As always, safety is a major priority for us. We conduct regular safety drills including bringing in the K-9 unit from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office for a check of our building and campus throughout the school year.
