A Message from the Superintendent

Dr. Glenn Faircloth
It’s been an honor being the Superintendent of Lorain County JVS for last seven years. Our school district is currently working on a strategic plan that will direct our goals and outcomes for the next four years.  We’ve adopted a new Vision for the district to be the model Career and Technical Education Center in the state of Ohio by 2023.
As our Mission indicates, we are creating opportunities for students to be successful in their careers. It takes every one of us to ensure that our students are reaching their greatest potential. Our Core Beliefs have been incorporated throughout the district to guide everything that we do.
We are extremely grateful to the many business and community partners who are working closely with us to ensure that our high school and adult students are prepared for an ever changing technology driven workforce.
Your input is also vitally important. You are encouraged to stay connected with Lorain County JVS. We have many vehicles for you to communicate with us including social media, our JVS E-Newsletter, our website and more.
Speaking of our website, we have launched an upgraded version to allow you to navigate more quickly and thoroughly. We will continue to provide the latest updates, information about alumni and all of our upcoming activities and events.  We are grateful that you have joined us on our website. Continue to visit us often. Together, we are making a difference for the students of Lorain County JVS.
