Project LIFE 101 is a comprehensive transition program designed for students with disabilities who require additional support in developing essential life and employability skills. This program focuses on fostering independence, workplace readiness, and social skills through hands-on learning experiences. Students engage in real-world job training, daily living activities, and community-based instruction to prepare for post-secondary education, employment, and independent living.
In Project LIFE 201, students have the opportunity to specialize in career pathways by choosing between experiences in the hospitality or maintenance services pathways. This advanced track allows students to develop industry-specific skills, gain practical work experience, and enhance their readiness for competitive employment in their chosen field. With a focus on individualized goals, Project LIFE empowers students to gain confidence, self-advocacy, and the skills necessary for a successful transition into adulthood.
