  • Responsibilities / Skills Needed: The City of Oberlin is accepting applications for a Code Administrator. Duties include monitoring and enforcing a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to zoning, nuisance, rooming house and property maintenance ordinances, serving as a resource and providing information on City regulations to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other City departments and divisions. This position also provides support for the Human Relations Commission, specifically related to administration of the ADA and Fair Housing. The position reports directly to the City Manager.

    Minimum Qualifications: Two-year college certificate or equivalent one to three years of experience in code enforcement, social equity administration or any combination of education and training and work experience which provides the required skill set to perform the essential functions of the job. International Property Maintenance Code experience preferred. The position requires a valid state of Ohio drivers license.
