Automotive Service Technician

Overview of Program
Learn how to diagnose and treat entry level Automatic Transmissions/Transaxle, Brakes, Engine Repairs, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning, Engine Performance and Advanced Auto Engine Performance.  A combination of classroom and hands-on training prepares you for the Entry Level Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) testing certification and for employment in the repair field. Additional certifications available for additional cost.

Hours - 600 hours 
Dates - Next session begins in September, 2024
Days/Times of Program - M,T, W, TH / 5:30pm - 10:00pm
*Books are not included in tuition.


This is a Career Development (CD) program that is approved by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).

This program is eligible for the Adult Diploma Program (ADP).

*There were no program graduates during time period for the annual report. Based on the Council on Occupational Education Annual Report 2022 for Reporting Period 01/01/2021-12/31/2021.  The placement rate is based on those completers who are employed in a field related to their job training program.  Actual number of students who are employed after graduation may be higher.
