WelderOverview of Program

Come train for this in-demand field! This program begins with an introduction to electric arc welding by running beads on flat, horizontal surfaces. Increase skills with further training using vertical and horizontal welds, gas tungsten arc welding (TIG), and gas metal arc welding (MIG) in all positions. Course includes training on safety fusion of metals, identification of electrodes, and equipment setup. With instructors’ approval, students will take AWS qualification tests.

Tuition - $4,100.00 (*Supplies and test are extra)
Hours - 180 hours 
Program Dates - Fall 2024
Days/Times of Program - T, TH - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

*Books are not included in tuition.

This is a Career Development (CD) program that is approved by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. (COE)

This program is eligible for the Adult Diploma Program (ADP).

*Based on the Council on Occupational Education Annual Report 2022 for Reporting Period 01/01/2021-12/31/2021.  The placement rate is based on those completers who are employed in a field related to their job training program.  Actual number of students who are employed after graduation may be higher.
