Manufacturing Programs
Manufacturing refers to the processing of raw materials or parts into finished goods using tools, human labor, machinery, and chemical processing. Manufacturing allows businesses to sell finished products at a higher cost than the value of the raw materials used. Aircraft, automobiles, chemicals, clothing, computers, consumer electronics, electrical equipment, furniture, heavy machinery, refined petroleum products, ships, steel, and tools and dies are some of the examples of manufacturing industries. Manufacturers typically need technical skills for hands-on work with equipment, and the ability to coordinate production alongside other skilled workers.

There is a shortage of skilled production workers in Lorain County and beyond. As a member of the Lorain County Manufacturing Sector Partnership (LCMSP) (http://www.lcmsp.org/members/lcjvs) we partner with them to train adults to fill jobs in the manufacturing industry. We have revamped the program offerings we have based on the ever changing industry demands. We are excited to present this new and industry relevelant 300 hour program.

CNC Operations & CAD/CAM Programming
