Overview of ProgramLearn the art and science of beautifying hair, skin, and nails in a state-of-the-art working salon! The instructor stays with students during their classroom and hands-on instruction to give the guidance and skills needed for a successful career. Program includes training on hair care, cutting, styling, skin care, manicuring and pedicuring services, sanitation and bacteriology, reception and communication skills, and salon operation. Upon completion, students are prepared for the state board exam and a career as a hair stylist, nail technician, make-up artist, esthetician, or salon owner.

*We only had two program graduates during the time period for the annual report. Based on the Council on Occupational Education Annual Report 2022 for Reporting Period 01/01/2021-12/31/2021. The placement rate is based on those completers who are employed in a field related to their job training program. Actual number of students who are employed after graduation may be higher.

The EDGEucated Cuts Salon is operated by senior level Adult Cosmetology students under the supervision of licensed instructors. The Outer Glo Spa is operated by senior level Adult Esthetics students under the direct supervision of licensed instructors.
